Starting at 7pm, runners will take on laps of an 800m lagoon circuit while following the Party Buggy. Sounds simple enough... until Death starts chasing you!

This isn't your average race. Every lap becomes more challenging as the pace increases by 1mph. Fall too far behind and Death will catch you. One tap on the shoulder and your challenge is over!
How does Last Man Standing work?
The event begins at a manageable pace of 3mph and gradually increases after every lap around the lagoon.
- Lap 1: 3mph
- Lap 2: 4mph
- Lap 3: 5mph
- Lap 4: 6mph
- Lap 5: 7mph
- Lap 6: 8mph
- Lap 7: 9mph
- Lap 8 onwards: Building towards 10mph
- Once 10mph has been reached and completed, Death takes over the pacing
- From that point onward, you're on your own!
Most runners will reach 5km in approximately 38 minutes before the challenge really begins. The field gradually gets smaller as runners are caught, until one person is left to claim victory.
