Be enchanted by the magic of Alton Towers

As you drive up to Alton Towers, you'll hear the roaring sounds of the coasters in the distance and the excitement builds as you decide whether to make the walk to the park entrance or take the monorail.

We would advise the monorail if you have children with little legs as the walk can take about 15 minutes.

Once you've been dropped off in style at the park’s entrance, enter the plaza, and you'll be surrounded by colourful buildings.

Hear the famous Alton Towers music and see the iconic Towers across the lake, with rides among the trees in the distance.

CBeebies Land!

See your little one's dreams come true at CBeebies Land.

They'll love taking a ride on the Get Set Go Tree Top Adventure where you can travel through the trees on a bug.

If your little ones love Postman Pat, they can drive his van through Greendale, delivering his post for him.

The park is huge so if your feet need a break, there's a Skyride to take you to your next destination.

This gives you amazing views of the resort and the beautiful gardens too (which you can also explore) as you travel through the air.

Fasten your seatbelts

Alton Towers is known for its jaw-dropping white knuckle rides - and however brave (or not so brave) you are, there's something for all.

Wickerman combines wood and fire - prepare to speed through the structure as he ignites into flames.

We dare you to attempt a grin as you ride the Smiler's 14 loops as you fly through the twisting track.

Thirteen is the park’s dark and mysterious ride - we don’t want to give anything away, but this is a MUST for everyone who is tall enough.

Worked up an appetite?

Check out the UK’s only Rollercoaster Restaurant and have your food tackle loop the loops on its very own rollercoaster track before arriving right in front of you.

There are plenty of other options too - you can even enjoy a picnic on the lawns in front of the Towers.

What's on at Alton Towers?

The park also hosts numerous events throughout the year.

Scarefest combines spooks, frights, and thrills to create the ultimate Halloween event - the live-action mazes are incredible, and you can even go on rides in the dark.

Oktoberfest features themed entertainment and delicious food (and drink) with a German twist.

With an annual pass, you can have maximum fun while saving money on tickets.

There’s even a waterpark on-site so you can have a Splashtastic time.

Alton Towers provides fantastic fun for the entire family and we're sure you'll return to make more magical memories!
