Is Amelia Trust Farm accessible for disabled visitors?
Getting around the farm:
The Farm is on one level from the car park down to the Animal Centre. The pathways across to the outdoor paddocks are also on one level. Most paths on the site are gravel or brick.
Please make sure you wear sensible footwear and clothing during your visit. As this is a countryside attraction, some paths may be uneven. Wellies and waterproofs are often a good idea if the weather is wet.
Woodland walks:
The Gnome and Fairy trail is on one level and is the most accessible for a pushchair, pram, or wheelchair. However, as with any woodland, the surface of the path can be uneven and will be impacted by the weather.
The Nature Trail is a more challenging walk and includes steps, slopes, and some areas that may become slippery.
Merlin's Walk is the shortest woodland walk. It begins through the amphitheatre and will take you to the sheep field. This path is on one level but can be narrow in places.
Accessible toilets:
Toilets including baby changing facilities and a disabled toilet can be found behind the café opposite the Animal Centre. A changing places toilet can be found next to the café.
