Set off from Conwy Harbour and feel the thrill as your RIB powers across the water toward Puffin Island, one of Wales’ premier nature reserves. This journey balances bursts of speed with slower moments, giving you the chance to take in the scenery and focus on wildlife.
As you approach the island, you’ll slow down near the seal colony, where grey seals can be seen lounging on the rocks or swimming alongside the boat. Continue around the cliffs for a true seabird spectacle, with gannets, guillemots and cormorants circling overhead—and puffins making an appearance during the breeding season.
The route also takes you through Puffin Sound and past the iconic Penmon Lighthouse, offering incredible photo opportunities and the chance of spotting dolphins or porpoises in the surrounding waters.
