Is the Arts Theatre wheelchair friendly?

Yes! They have a step free entrance to the venue on Great Newport Street. The Main Box office is street level so please arrive here and they will take you to the step free point.

Once you’ve arrived in the auditorium, they have an accessible toilet on this level which is unisex.

Handrails are available of all sides of the circle and stairs leading to stalls
No handrails in the stalls. Our seats are 410mm wide.

Please note, the wheelchair and carer spaces are located in the Circle seats F13 and F14.

The arts theatre do not allow items that could be considered as dangerous into the theatres.

This can include (but is not exclusive to) knives, sticks / batons, heavy or sharp items, glass, laser pointers, chemicals, aerosols, sports bats or clubs. If found during security checks these items will be confiscated.
