  • Both Athelhampton House and the Gardens are historic Grade I listed sites, meaning there are natural limitations as the historic buildings cannot be altered for accessibility needs.
  • The Athelhampton team receives disability awareness training to help ensure visitors with disabilities have an enjoyable experience.
  • The entrance, visitor centre, shop, toilets and restaurant are all accessible to visitors.
  • Ramps are available on request to overcome certain impassable steps within the House and Garden.
  • The house contains rooms spread across three floors, with most located on the ground floor; there is no lift to the first floor.
