Upton Warren: Aqua Park

• Swimming Ability: To go on the Aqua Park you must be able to confidently swim 25 metres with a buoyancy aid, without the help of others. You are likely to go under water and should be confident in the water. You also have to swim to the Aqua Park to gain access.
• Water Quality: The lake water at Upton Warren is monitored and tested on a minimum of a monthly basis between May and September.
• Waterproof Cameras: All cameras must be secured by a chest harness. The team cannot be held responsible for any lost devices - wearing a camera is at your own risk. If lost the water is deep in excess of 3m.
• Spectacles & Goggles: The team strongly recommend glasses and swimming goggles are not worn on the Aqua Park because of the danger of impact and them getting pushed back and shattering the wearers face. The danger comes from falling on to the obstacles and others falling onto you.
• Wildlife & Fish: There are ducks and geese that live on and around the lakes at Upton Warren and Lower Moor. There are also fish in the lakes, both large and small.
• Alcohol Consumption: Please note alcohol consumption is not allowed prior to your session. 

• Guests must remain courteous and respectful at all times toward the Aztec Adventure Upton Warren team and other users; any unreasonable behaviour will not be tolerated.
• Visitors are advised not to bring valuables, as the site will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items.
• Team members are not permitted to look after guests’ belongings during activities.
• Photography is allowed, but guests should only photograph their own group and must not take photos of anyone else on site without express permission.
• The use of drones is not permitted without express permission from Aztec Adventure management.
• All activities require a completed waiver form before participation.
• The waiver form will be emailed to guests once a booking is made.
• If the waiver has not been completed before arrival, guests will be required to fill out a paper version of the form on site.
• Completing the waiver form online in advance is recommended, as completing it on arrival may delay check‑in.

The Aqua Park in Upton Warren is suitable for ages 6+.

• Participants must be at least 122cm tall & able to swim 25m
• Children aged 6-7 must be accompanied by an adult (1 adult to 2 children)
• Children 8+ can attend without an adult.
• All participants must be booked online.

To ensure your Aztec Adventure is as safe and comfortable as possible, the team recommend bringing the following:

• Swimwear, towel, and water shoes for water activities
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• A refillable water bottle
• Any required medication

Yes, Aztec Adventure is wheelchair accessible and offers a variety of facilities to ensure the safety and comfort of wheelchair users.

• Blue Badge parking is available close to site entrances
• Seating and quiet spaces for for comfort and sensory-friendly breaks
• Staff trained to support guests with visible and non-visible disabilities
• Actively working toward the National Autistic Society’s Autism Friendly Award

 Aztec Adventure Upton Warren:

• Step-free access with ramps and handrails across key areas
• Accessible reception desk
• Disabled toilet and changing room
• Specialist equipment, including a hoist to assist with boat access
• Wheely Boat available for guided lake tours without needing to transfer from a wheelchair
• Café table service available on request

• Upton Warren: No dogs allowed. It’s a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) protected by Natural England.
• The Lost Valley: Dog-friendly! Well-behaved pups are welcome.
• Lower Moor: Dogs allowed but must be kept on a lead and are not permitted in the lake.

It’s recommended that you book in advance, as some activities have limited availability. You can view opening times and real-time availability for each activity when purchasing tickets online.

• Aztec Adventure Upton Warren: Onsite cafe available with hot and cold food, drinks and snacks
• Aztec Adventure Lower Moor: Hot and cold drinks plus snacks available. Plus bring your own lunch and enjoy it on the picnic benches
• Aztec Adventure The Lost Valley: There is no dedicated cafe, but there are nearby eateries
