Car:

  • Banham Zoological Gardens is signposted off the A11 and A140. Follow the brown tourist signs to find the site.

Train:

  • The nearest train station to Banham Zoological Reserve is Norwich. Taxi/Bus transport will be required on arrival to these stations to reach the reserve.

Bus:

  • Currently, the only bus route to Banham Zoo is the 37A service run by Coach Services. From the bus station there is a 5-minute walk to the zoo entrance.

Accessibility is important to Banham Zoo and they endeavour to create an environment free from barriers and obstacles to ensure that their facilities and services are accessible to all.

  • Wheelchair Loan: Free manual wheelchairs are available to guests. These are in limited supply so are offered on a first come, first served basis. 
  • Mobility Scooters: Disabled visitors can hire a mobility scooter for £10 per day. There is a limited number of mobility scooters available for hire, so to avoid disappointment, it is recommended that guests pre-book in advance. 
  • Pushchair Hire: The gardens are pushchair friendly. Pushchairs are available to hire for children aged 1-6 at the main entrance. £10 for a single or double pushchair for the day.
