Passengers must arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to allow time for check-in, a safety briefing and lifejacket fitting. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated and the trip will depart without them.

All passengers must be fit to ride and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Bay Island Voyages disclaimer. Travel is not permitted for those who are pregnant or have certain back, neck, skeletal or underlying medical conditions. It is the lead booker’s responsibility to ensure all passengers are eligible, and no refunds will be given if this is not checked in advance.

Passengers should dress appropriately for the trip, including wearing flat shoes and suitable clothing such as trousers or shorts due to the seating style and lifejacket fit. For coastal trips, there is a chance of getting wet, so warm or waterproof clothing is recommended. Limited waterproofs may be available on the day.
