Adorable alpacas in Scotland

Alpacas are certainly one of the most lovable creatures in the animal kingdom. As they’re not native to the UK, someone less informed may initially mistake one for a giant sheep or even a woolly goat, but they’re far more commonly mistaken for their cousin, the llama. But there’s so much more to these fluffy guys than what meets the eye, although what does meet the eye is super cute too!

They’re docile yet curious. Gentle yet hardy. Shy yet sociable. But still, alpacas are rich in personality, with every alpaca having their own quirks and characteristics which just make them even more adorable. In the Cheviot Hills of Scotland, you can find a little place called Beirhope Alpacas, where there’s a huge group of them just waiting to meet you!
