If you're between 15 to 18 and are considering a zoo-related career, then this experience in Belfast is just the day out in Belfast Zoo for you.

The zoo is a great place to work. There are many varied and meaningful career paths within the field of animal care, welfare and conservation.

The event gives an introduction to different zoo careers and provides insight into key areas of animal husbandry, welfare and veterinary. A combination of classroom learning and interactive activity onsite is included.

If you are aged between 15 and 18, book a place for a half day taster of life in the zoo, meet some of team including keepers, curators, educators, veterinary staff and get some hands on experience behind the scenes and also to create some enrichment items to support the mental well-being of the animals at Belfast Zoo.
