Let’s get going

Belfast welcomes any traveller seeking an adventure. If you’re coming from afar, you’ve probably already recognised that the hardest part of your trip is fitting everything you want to do into the time you have.

That’s where Belfastology is here to help. After Marti, owner of Belfastology, finished his travels around the world, he returned to Belfast – with the dream of sharing the city he loved with other people.

Since 2011, he’s been doing just that.

So which tour will you choose? Fancy learning about Belfast’s history and passing by its renowned architecture? The Eclectic Belfast City Centre Walking Tour has got you covered.

Beginning at City Hall, you’ll meander your way along streets before finally arriving in the Cathedral Quarter.

Hear the tales of notable people who called the city their home – the tours are bespoke for every group, focusing on what you’re interested in learning about.

Outside of Belfast

Up for a “wee dander” (walk) through the city, discovering its diverse and vibrant art scene along the way?

On the Street Art, Music and Pub Experience – you’ll get the chance to admire Belfast’s extraordinary artistic side.

Passing by pubs, old and modern, we’ll leave you with our top tip. Keep a note of which ones you like. Then when you’ve got a free evening, you’ll have a perfectly curated pub crawl itinerary ready and waiting.

Looking for something outside of Belfast, perhaps? Both the Eco Train and Eco Bus Tours head straight out of the city, into the other realms of Northern Ireland.

The train will whisk you away northwest, to the marvellous city of Derry, whereas the bus tour explores a different side of Northern Ireland, its natural beauty.

You’ll head south, to the Murlough Nature Reserve in Dundrum. Take a walk over the flowing dunes, with the Mourne Mountains rising up high on one side and the Irish Sea stretching away on the other.

An open mind does wonders

Learning about a place, from its history to its culture and people, gives your adventure a whole new meaning.

So, pack a bag and book your ticket, Belfastology is waiting to show you a side of the city bound to leave you enchanted.
