About Pride The Musical

Set during the summer of 1984, Pride follows a group of LGBTQ+ activists led by Mark Ashton as they decide to support striking miners and their families during the national miners' strike.

After forming Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners, the group begins raising money for a small mining community in South Wales. What starts as an unlikely partnership soon develops into a powerful friendship as both groups discover shared experiences, common values and the strength that comes from standing together.
