About The Wind In The Willows

Mole dreams of adventure beyond his quiet burrow, while Badger prefers the peace of solitude, and Rat is happiest drifting down the river with a picnic basket in tow. Life along the Riverbank is calm and content...until the ever enthusiastic Toad bursts in with his latest craze, a gypsy caravan.

Boisterous, generous, and just a tiny bit full of himself, Toad’s wild ideas soon spiral out of control when he falls head over heels for the thrill of motorcars. As chaos follows in his wake, his loyal friends must rally to save him from his own reckless whims, and reclaim Toad Hall from a band of cunning stoats and weasels. Is Brockswood Animal Sanctuary wheelchair accessible?

Brockswood is situated at the head of a shallow valley and we do have some sloped hardcore paths around the site that may be difficult for some of our disabled visitors, as they are a little uneven in some places.

They do have ramps in all areas where there are steps, as well as an accessible toilet, and disabled parking spots close to the entrance, so wheelchair access is possible though not 100% ideal at present.

Can I bring my dog to Brockswood Animal Sanctuary?

Yes, you can bring your dog to Brockswood Animal Sanctuary. Brockswood Animal Sanctuary welcomes well-behaved dogs on leads. They also have a secure dog run where dogs can be off-lead!
