Castell Cricieth, or Criccieth Castle, makes for one of the must visit attractions in North Wales. Located in the charming small town of Criccieth, with a population of just over 1,700 people, the site provides stunning vistas of the town and bay as you explore the town's famous landmark.

Originally created by Llywelyn ap Iorwerth, the castle was later captured and altered by Edward I in his conquest of Wales before being besieged and heavily damaged in a revolt let by Owain Glyndŵr in 1404.
