How To Find Us

By car:

You can find the site at Cairngorms Activities, Craggan Golf Course, Grantown-on-Spey, Morayshire, PH26 3NT, just off of the A95. The postcode covers a wide area, and Sat-Nav's can sometimes direct people to varying places within the vicinity. Please follow the brown tourist signs for 'Craggan Fishery and Golf Course' until you see our large purple sign on the road side for 'Cairngorms Activities', (formerly Craggan Outdoors).

There is free parking on-site for all our visitors.

By bus:

Public transport links are some of the best in the Highlands, with buses running to Grantown-on-Spey. Friendly drivers have been known to stop especially to drop people off at the top of the drive. From Aviemore train station, there is a bus stop right outside the station for onward buses to Grantown-on-Spey. You can book bus tickets here.

By train:

The nearest train stations can be found at:

  • Broomhill Railway Station, Grantown-on-Spey, PH26 3LX - 3-miles away, approx. a 5-minutes drive
  • Cromdale Station, Speyside Way, Cromdale, Grantown-on-Spey, PH26 3LQ - 5-miles away, approx. a 10-minute drive
  • Aviemore Station, Grampian Road, Aviemore, Highland, PH22 1PD - 13-miles away, approx. a 20-minute drive

When preparing for outdoor activities like kayaking, biking, and other adventures, it's crucial to wear moisture-wicking base layers to stay dry and comfortable, and to avoid cotton.

Footwear should be sturdy and appropriate for the activity, such as water shoes for kayaking and cycling shoes for biking. Dressing in layers, including a windproof or waterproof outer layer, allows you to adapt to changing weather conditions.

Essential accessories include a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for sun protection.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand to ensure you're on time for you adventure.
