Founded by volunteers in 1976 and opened to the public in 1981, Chiltern Open Air Museum is a charity that rescues historic buildings that are under threat of being demolished. Alongside rebuilding and preserving the buildings, Chiltern Museum ensures their safety on a traditional Chilterns landscape.
Having successfully re-erected 37 buildings to date, Chiltern Museum offers visitors a captivating journey through time whilst providing a beautiful, countryside escape just outside of London.
