Nightmare in the Square transforms Guildhall Square into an immersive Halloween party for one night only. A purpose-built marquee creates the setting, with haunted décor and twisted set designs bringing the nightmare to life before the dance floor even gets going.

Live scare actors and roaming entertainers will move around the event, adding sudden surprises to the evening. On stage and above the crowd, confetti blasts, CO₂ cannons, ultraviolet effects and laser production will turn up the spectacle.

The event is expected to welcome more than 2,000 costumed ravers, and fancy dress is compulsory. Go creepy, creative or properly terrifying, because ordinary party clothes will not cut it at this Halloween takeover.

Drinks will be available from the event bar, with selected drinks advertised from £4. Further food, drink and payment information has not yet been published.
