Step into the wonderful world of P.T. Barnum

Hand in hand with his devoted wife Charity, P.T. Barnum dreams of something bigger than ordinary life. As his ambitions grow, so does the scale of his spectacular entertainment empire, taking audiences on a journey filled with triumphs, challenges and unforgettable moments.

Directed by Jonathan O'Boyle and featuring choreography from Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse, this new production combines dazzling musical theatre with astonishing circus artistry. A talented ensemble of actor-musicians, acrobats and performers creates a vibrant spectacle from beginning to end.

Barnum first captured audiences' imaginations during its celebrated run at the London Palladium, where Michael Crawford famously crossed the stage on a tightrope. Now, Matt Rawle takes on the iconic role and steps onto the tightrope himself as he brings the legendary showman back to life.

Featuring music by multi-award-winning composer Cy Coleman, lyrics by Michael Stewart and a book by Mark Bramble, Barnum is packed with memorable songs, colourful characters and spectacular theatrical moments.

Book your Barnum tickets today and experience one of the most exciting musical theatre events coming to Eastbourne in 2026.
