Archery details:
- Ages: 10+ only
- Duration: 50 mins
- Wear appropriate footwear for an outdoor grassy area.
- Dress code, long sleeve top, trainers.
- Hair must be tied back and all jewellery removed
- All piercings on the upper body visible or otherwise must be removed as it may cause injury.
- Children under 16 must have adult supervision on-site.
- Check-in at The Activity Centre 20 minutes before your session time. This is on the far right side of The Laird’s Table Building.
- The sessions are meticulously designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in archery, so its awesome for all!
During these sessions, you'll be introduced to the various equipment used and taught the fundamental techniques required to shoot a bow safely and effectively.

Craufurdland Estate, located near Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire, Scotland, has a rich history dating back to the 13th century. The estate has been home to the Crawford family for nearly 800 years
The original Craufurdland Castle was built in the 16th century and has undergone several remodels and extensions over the centuries. The property was passed to the Howiesons in 1793 and has remained in the family since!
The castle features a mix of architectural styles, including Gothic elements added during the 19th century. The estate is not just a historical site but also a hub of various activities and businesses, including farming, holiday accommodations, and outdoor activities for family days out.
The current laird, Simon Houison Craufurd, continues to manage the estate and its community initiatives!
