Is Dean Heritage Centre wheelchair accessible?

A portion of the site is accessible for wheelchair users. Due to the nature of the attractions, Gallery 41 and the Free Mine are not accessible. 

  • There are disabled parking bays onsite
  • The Museum and Coffee Shop have disabled toilets

Please be aware that paths around the main site are stony and the woodland paths may become muddy after rain. 

Is there food and drink available at Dean Heritage Centre?

Dean Heritage Centre is home to The Heritage Coffee Shop, which serves a variety of delicious hot and cold food and drink. 

You can also bring your own food and drink to enjoy on the picnic benches, but please ensure you take all rubbish home or put it in the bins provided.
