How to find us

Location: The Westpoint showground is located on the A3052, one mile from the M5 J30

  • Car Parking: Car Parking is free – use postcode EX5 1DJ then follow Signs in closer vicinity to the showground. We have forward parking in all our carparks for blue badge holders.
  • By Bus: Stagecoach 9, 9A & 9W – Up to every 15mins from Exeter bus station at peak times. This includes additional buses direct from Exeter St Davids every 30 minutes which will run once again on 2025 show days. Please see below links for the 2025 timetables. All buses are low floor allowing step free access to the kerb and also have at least one wheelchair space per vehicle.  Contact Stagecoach for more information
  • Train Timetables: If travelling by train we advise travelling to Exeter St Davids, and then if available at the time of your arrival the 9W Stagecoach bus direct to the show, or alternatively the 4 or 4A to the bus station followed by the 9, 9A or 9W to Westpoint. 
  • Cycle Parks: Cycle Parks are located at each entrance. All bikes are left at the owner’s risk. Please note it is possible to cycle from central Exeter on dedicated safe cycle routes. Click to view Exeter Cycle Path map here. We are central far right just below the Cranbrook zoom box.

Is Devon County Show wheelchair accessible?

Carers tickets are £8 and are only valid when accompanying a registered disabled person with a full price ticket. Evidence of carer status must be provided at the entrance.

Acceptable paperwork includes:

  • Attendance Allowance Letter (AA)
  • Carers’ Allowance Letter of Award
  • Disability Living Allowance Letter (DLA)
  • Personal Independence Payments (PIP)
  • Armed Forces Independence Payments (AFIP)
  • Valid Blue Badge
Is the Devon County Show suitable for children?

Yes! The Devon County Show is suitable for all ages, with activities for both younger and older visitors. 

  • Children aged 0-5 do not require a ticket and are admitted to the show free of charge on all days.
  • All children over 5 years old need a ticket on Thursday and Friday of the Show
  • Two children aged 5 to 16 are admitted free of charge with a paying adult on the Saturday of the Show without a ticket. If an adult is accompanying 3 or more children then tickets are required for the third child onwards.
Is Devon County Show dog-friendly?

Dogs are allowed on the Showground on short fixed leads, no retractable leads are allowed. Dogs are not permitted in the Sheep or Goat marquees, Cattle Hall or Members Pavilion.

Assistance dogs are permitted in all areas. Dog mess can be deposited in the general waste bins.

Please do not leave your dog(s) in your car at any times.

Is there food and drink available at the Devon County Show?

Yes! The main food areas at Devon County Show are the Food Walk, Taste of the West area, Lime Tree and the Food & Drink Pavilion. 

  • There will be a range of vegan and vegetarian food options available
  • You may bring your own picnic to enjoy on a picnic bench, with several scattered around the site
What are the opening times for the Devon County Show?

Gates Open:

  • Thursday & Friday: 7.30am – 6.30pm
  • Saturday: 7.30am - 6.00pm
  • Trade stands open from 9am every day

There are 4 main gates that can be accessed by members of the public:

  • Green: This is the main visitor entrance accessed from the green car parks. There is no pedestrian access to this gate from the main road.
  • Brown: This is the main pedestrian gate which is where most people people travelling by bike, bus, coach or walking would enter the Show.
  • White: This gate serves the white car parks and is positioned on the same side of the showground as Green Gate.
  • Yellow: This gate serves the yellow car park and is positioned next to the fairground.

Please note that tickets can only be scanned once with exception of multiday printed badges. Re-admission is only available same day at public entrances by way of an official hand stamp.
