How to find us

Bus:

Dudley Bus Station is 2 minutes walk from the zoo entrance.

PLEASE NOTE: Dudley Bus station will be completely closed from Jan 2024 until June 2025 due to ongoing Metro work.

Buses will drop around Coronation Gardens and Tower Street, with directional signage to Dudley Zoo & Castle in place.

Rail:

Dudley Port Station 3 miles / Sandwell & Dudley Station 5 miles. Frequent bus service to Dudley from Dudley Port station.

Visit West Midlands Railway or Chiltern Railways to help plan your journey to the Zoo!

Car:

Situated on the A461 (Castle Hill) 3 miles from M5 Junction 2.
Please note roadworks are taking place on Castle Hill for the Metro.

Access to the car park is via Tipton Road, DY1 4AL. (driving down Tipton Road towards Black Country Living Museum from Castlegate Island, turn left at the traffic lights). Car park is barrier operated and £4.00 per token to exit.
