Guided from room to room, guests will follow the mystery as it unfolds through the Welcome Room, Flavour Arch, Stillroom, and tasting rooms. Along the way, meet the suspects, ask the questions and sip five expertly crafted cocktails inspired by the dark and twisted story.

  • The Edinburgh Gin Distillery offers step-free access directly from the pavement and is fully accessible for wheelchair users and mobility scooter users throughout the building, thanks to its lift and accessible layout.
  • The guided tour involves a small amount of walking between rooms; however, additional seating can be provided in areas where standing for extended periods may be challenging.
  • Tastings are held in low seating, and the bar area features a mix of high and low chairs for comfort and flexibility.
Are children permitted inside Edinburgh Gin Distillery?

The Gin Distillery is strictly 18+ only.

  • Due to this, children and babies are not allowed on tours, experiences of into the bar.
  • Accompanied children may enter the distillery shop.

Tour Opening Hours:

  • Open 7 days a week
  • First tour begins at 11:00am
  • Last tour departs at 5:00pm
  • Extended hours on Thursday, Friday & Saturday: Last experience offered at 7:00pm

Bar Opening Hours:

  • Sunday to Wednesday: 11:00am - 7:30pm
  • Thursday to Saturday: 11:00am - Midnight
  • Last orders are called shortly before closing

Visitors to the Edinburgh Gin Distillery are encouraged to use public transport, as there is no dedicated parking on site.

However, public parking is available nearby, including the New Street Carpark, which offers the following rates:

  • Up to 3 hours: £9.00
  • Up to 5 hours: £14.00
  • Up to 10 hours: £18.00
  • Up to 24 hours: £24.50

For guests who prefer not to consume alcohol during their visit, the distillery offers takeaway tasting packs. These can be arranged directly with the Distillery Ambassador on the day of the experience.
