Can I visit Eureka! Science + Discovery without my kids?

No. We run special adult-only Lates events for those who want to visit without a young person in their booking. Eureka Museum is an attraction designed for children and young people aged 0 – 14 and their parents or caregivers.

What age is Eureka! Science + Discovery for?

Eureka! Science + Discovery has been created for children and young people aged up to 14, but parents, grandparents and older family members can still have just as much fun as the kids. 

There’s a separate space just for our younger visitors in The Burrow zone in the terminal building, but your tickets get you access to all areas in both buildings.

Can I bring my dog to Eureka! Science + Discovery?

Dogs are not permitted at Eureka! Science + Discovery. Assistance dogs are permitted, and can be provided a bowl of water upon request. 

Is there a quiet room for visitors with special needs at Eureka! Science + Discovery?

The chill-out room at Eureka! Science + Discovery is a safe space for visitors with special needs and visitors who need some quiet time or prayer. Ask a member of staff and they will show you to the room. 

Are there extra support facilities at Eureka! Science + Discovery for visitors with disabilities?

Eureka! Science + Discovery provides extra support for any visitor that needs it. Simply ask a member of staff if you need support, including wheelchairs, hearing loops, ear defenders, or spare clothes.

Is Eureka! Science + Discovery in Wallasey the same as Eureka! National Children's Museum in Halifax?

Eureka! has two very different sites in Wallasey and Halifax, but you'll recognise the Eureka! approach at both sites. 

Eureka! Science + Discovery is designed as a science centre for young people, rather than a children’s museum.

You’ll have a great time at both though!

Can I upgrade to an annual pass at a later date?

No. If you wish to purchase an annual pass for Eureka! Science + Discovery, please do this directly on the Eureka!
