Launceston Ghost Walk highlights:

Far more than a typical history tour, this immersive experience blends chilling legends with well researched historical accounts and documented paranormal activity.

Guests are invited to take part in a hands-on paranormal investigation using real ghost-hunting equipment, including:

  • EMF meters to detect electromagnetic anomalies
  • Dowsing rods for energy tracking
  • Spirit voice apps and other tools used in modern paranormal research

These devices allow you to actively engage with the environment and test the boundaries between folklore and phenomena. It’s a rare opportunity to experience Bridgwater’s haunted reputation from both a historical and investigative lens.

Launceston, once the capital of Cornwall, is a town rich in medieval heritage and layered with centuries of intrigue. Its imposing castle, ancient jailhouse, and winding lanes have witnessed everything from royal visits to public executions.

Extours has carefully selected locations with documented hauntings and historical significance, ensuring that each tale is rooted in both fact and folklore.

What really sets this tour apart is its interactive approach. Participants don’t just hear ghost stories, they become part of the investigation.

Equipped with authentic ghost-hunting tools such as EMF meters, dowsing rods, and other devices used in real paranormal research, guests are encouraged to test the boundaries between myth and reality. This hands on element transforms the walk into a truly immersive experience, where history and mystery collide.

Whether you're a history enthusiast, a paranormal aficionado, or simply someone looking for a memorable night out, the Launceston Ghost Walk offers something truly unique.
