Salisbury Ghost Walks, where ancient stones keep their secrets… and some still whisper after dark

With its towering cathedral, medieval streets and centuries of human stories etched into every wall, Salisbury is a city made for ghost tales. Its long history, from market‑town bustle to ancient pathways that predate the city itself, provides fertile ground for mysteries, legends and curious happenings.

The Salisbury Ghost Tour, led by the storytelling experts at Extours, invites visitors to step beyond the tourist view and into the city’s shadowy, intriguing past.

Salisbury Ghost Tour highlights:

Extours leads guests through this twilight landscape, sharing stories drawn from Salisbury’s long history — curious sightings, local legends and moments preserved in the city’s memory. The tour blends lively narrative with gentle hints of paranormal investigation, offering a night that feels mysterious without ever being overwhelming.

This isn’t just a guided walk, it’s a chance to become part of the mystery. Guests are invited to use authentic ghost-hunting equipment, including:

  • EMF meters to detect electromagnetic anomalies
  • Dowsing rods to trace unseen energies
  • Spirit communication tools used in real investigations
