What animals will we see on this visit?

During your visit, you'll have the chance to see pregnant ewes, those who have recently given birth, as well as lambs, Boer and Pygmy goat nannies, and their kids. They have a variety of sheep breeds, including Dutch Spotted, Jacob, Suffolk, Llyen, Shetland, Zwarble, Romney, Valais, Southdown, and Herdwick lambs. They anticipate lambing will begin around the 21st of March and continue through to late April.

What age group is this suitable for?

Lambing/kidding visits are suitable for children aged 3 years and older, as well as adults. Since the baby animals are delicate, they ask that adults hold the lambs and kids for younger children, allowing the children to stroke the animals on the adult’s lap. For the safety of both the unborn baby and the expectant mother, they do not permit pregnant ladies on the farm during lambing time. This is to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing during this busy time on the farm.

Can we stay on the farm afterwards?

Sorry, this isn't possible as these are exclusive group visits. Other guests will be booked in after your session.
