Aberdeen: Gabby's Dollhouse Live

Yes! Gabby's Dollhouse Live! Tour is hosted in wheelchair accessible venues, providing a range of access, comfortable seating and wheelchair-friendly facilities. 

Generally, Gabby’s Dollhouse Live! is for children aged 2 to 7 years – the show is suitable for all ages with its engaging storyline, creative staging, great music, talented cast and unique puppets.

• Please don’t allow your child to stand on chairs and please do not put your child on your shoulders during the show.

Gabby’s Dollhouse Live! runs approximately 75 minutes, with two approx. 30-minute acts and a 15-20 minute interval, depending on the venue.

• Please note that all people over 13 months of age on the day of the show (children and adults) will require a ticket to Gabby’s Dollhouse Live! 
• Please check with your local venue to confirm if there are any restrictions for infants under 12 months.
• Some UK venues do not allow children under 12 months to attend.
• Other venues may have a ‘babes in arms’ policy.
• These policies are determined by each venue and can vary from location to location. 

In many venues, doors open 60 minutes prior to the show. Please make sure to allow time for traffic, parking, entrance delays, and you may want to purchase merchandise before the start of the show!

Yes, there will always be a merchandise stand for you to buy a Gabby’s Dollhouse Live! keepsake or souvenir on the day.

• Typical merchandise on offer may include T-shirts, plush toys and light-up toys.
• Merchandise does vary from show to show and from venue to venue, depending on what is available at the time.

Many favourite Gabby’s Dollhouse characters from the DreamWorks Animation series will be seen in the live show!

Please Note: Actors from the DreamWorks Animation series will not appear in this touring live show. Characters will be played by a talented cast of singer-actors and puppeteers – the Gabby Cats are brought to life as puppets, operated and voiced live by the cast.

Gabby’s Dollhouse Live! is a theatrical show featuring Gabby and the unique Gabby Cats brought to life by a talented professional cast of singer/actor/puppeteers, unique hand-controlled puppets and a dynamic theatrical production design. An LED screen is also used as an animated backdrop to bring the show to life for the audience.

A few things to remember as you plan your visit:

• Most children are familiar with entertainment that happens on TV or via device screens. Explain that this will be different, because there will be a story happening live in front of them. The story doesn’t stop if you leave the room, but there will be a break in the middle of the show.
• Have fun – sing along, dance, clap, and join in the audience participation elements. But be safe and considerate of those around you.
