How to find us

Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway runs for 14 miles between Broadway and Cheltenham Race Course. You can begin your general admission journey at Broadway, Toddington, Winchcombe or Cheltenham Race Course.

Broadway Station

  • By car: From the A46, join the A44 towards Broadway and Oxford. After approximately 5 miles, take the third exit at the roundabout shortly after Wickhamford into Broadway. Follow signs towards the village centre; the station car park is on the right just before the low railway bridge.
  • Parking: Parking is available close to Broadway Station. Follow signage on arrival.

Toddington Station

  • By car from the M5: Leave the M5 at Junction 9 and take the A46 towards Evesham. After approximately 3 miles, join the B4077 towards Stow-on-the-Wold.
  • Continue to Toddington: Follow the B4077 for approximately 5 miles. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards Stow. The entrance to Toddington Station is approximately 140 yards further on the right.
  • From Stow-on-the-Wold: Follow the B4077 towards Tewkesbury and Toddington. Continue through Ford and descend Stanway Hill towards Toddington.

Winchcombe Station

  • By car: Winchcombe is one of the four main stations where visitors can begin their Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway journey. Follow local signs for Winchcombe Station when approaching the area.
  • Parking: Parking is available at Winchcombe Station, subject to availability.

Cheltenham Race Course Station

  • By car from the M5: Leave the M5 at Junction 11 and take the A40 towards Cheltenham.
  • Continue towards the racecourse: At the second roundabout, take the second exit towards Swindon Village and the Racecourse on the A4013, Princess Elizabeth Way.
  • Through Swindon Village: Continue through the next two roundabouts following signs for Swindon Village and the Racecourse.
  • Arrival: Follow signs for Cheltenham Racecourse and Park & Ride. Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway's Cheltenham Race Course Station is located within the main racecourse complex.
