Located in the heart of North London, Alexandra Palace offers all-year, all-round fun.

Offering both formal gardens and rustic woodlands, the 196-acres of park is excellent for strolls, picnics and adventures.

When the weather is warm, head to the boating lake which is home to pedalos, classic rowing boats and more. If you'd prefer to keep your feet on the ground, check out the park's Ice Rink for a glide in the sunshine, or check out the Skate Park for tricks on the concrete, and there's also a Pitch and Putt course.

Most Sundays, you'll find Alexandra Palace's famous farmers' market with over 30-stalls selling local produce. Plus, if you're in need of refreshments and relaxation, head to the Lakeside Café or the Grove Café.

By car:

Parking for cars is limited and can get full very quickly, as such we recommend using one of the public transportation options. However, the nearest car park to Go Ape is the East car park if you drive.

Please note: Parking fees vary from free up to £8 for 4+ hours.

By Train:

Head to Alexandra Palace Station, where you can take the W3 bus or walk (15-20 mins) directly to the venue.

A regular train service runs direct from Moorgate (weekdays only) or from Kings Cross, changing at Finsbury Park.

Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip off shoes, open toes or heels.

Wear sensible clothes for adventure and please ensure your midriff is covered.

Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.

Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy, in high winds or during lightning.

Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun! Don’t forget to dress for the weather. Sometimes, unfortunately, Go Ape might need to close the course for reasons beyond our control, if this happens you will be given a full refund.

Please ensure you arrive for your Go Ape activity 15 minutes before your session begins. 

Go Ape take pride in sharing their activities with as many people as possible.

All courses are designed to be accessible, but they do offer a degree of physical and mental challenge. This may mean additional equipment or adjustments to supervision.

In order to keep your gadgets and others safe, Go Ape asks that all phones and cameras are attached to the participant. Lanyards are available to buy from the cabin, subject to availability.
