  • Treetop Challenge: Clamber up rope ladders into the tree tops and journey through the canopy on platforms connected by a variety of tricky crossings. Each site ends in a zip wire to bring you back to the ground! Suitable for anyone over 1.4m tall and aged at least 10 years old.

Things to do in Tilgate Park:

Have a breather and refuel in the Walled Garden café, before heading out to explore the heritage parkland and Nature Centre.

You’ll find beautiful lawns, lakes, heather gardens and a Peace Garden. Go and say hello to the animals in the Nature Centre which is home to mongoose, meerkats, reindeers and otters, to name but a few.

A large children’s play area overlooks the lake and you can hire family boats (rowing boats, canoes and double sit on top kayaks) or single boats (stand up paddle boards and sit on top kayaks) if you’d like to get out and about on the lake.
