Make it a full day out at Moors Valley Country Park

Moors Valley Country Park, located 10 miles north of Bournemouth, is an award-winning destination, boasting expansive forested areas and a variety of activities.

The site features two adventure play areas, one designed for older children with thrilling elements like a zip slide and climbing boulder, and another for younger children with gentler slides and swings. Families can explore the Play Trail, where children can have fun on educational wooden play structures such as the Giant Ants Nest, Snake Pit, and Crocodile Crossing.

And there's more, the Tree Top Trail offers a five-metre high, 200-metre-long wooden walkway among the trees, though not suitable for pushchairs. The park provides numerous paths and tracks for leisurely walks, along with five cycling trails, ranging from family-friendly to challenging routes. Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip off shoes, open toes or heels.

Wear sensible clothes for adventure and please ensure your midriff is covered.

Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.

Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity! The course remains open in all weathers, except when it is icy, stormy, in high winds or during lightning. Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which all adds to the fun! Don’t forget to dress for the weather.

Sometimes, unfortunately, course may need to be closed for reasons beyond Go Ape's control, if this happens you will be given a full refund.

Please ensure you arrive for your Go Ape activity 15 minutes before your session begins.
