From April to July, the islands come alive with seabirds, including an estimated 40,000 breeding pairs of puffins, along with guillemots, razorbills and several species of terns. Throughout the year, you’ll also have the chance to spot the Farne Islands’ resident Grey Seal colony - one of the largest in Europe, with thousands of seals living around the islands.
With expert commentary from George, the current Trinity House Lighthouse Attendant, you’ll also learn about the history, geology and stories of the islands - including the famous rescue carried out by Grace Darling.
