Sheltered in the woods on the outskirts of Littlehampton between Portsmouth and Brighton is a battlefield full of potential adventure.

Paintball is Ground Control’s speciality, and they have a whole range of different game modes you can play.

You and your friends will be armed with a semi-automatic paint blasting gun and decked out in camouflage gear that’ll allow you to prowl the woodland terrain unseen.

You’ll be let loose on the battlefield to defeat your enemies, and as you run, shoot and hide, you’ll be completely swept up in the thrill of battle.

Exhilarating arenas

Each paintball game mode also has its own massive battlefield, complete with all sorts of intricate obstacles and structures.

Areas include Crash Site, where you’ll have to infiltrate a ruined aircraft to find a briefcase to deliver to your base, and The Siege, a map that covers 50 metres of woodlands! There are bases at either end, and a large village between them where you’ll battle it out for control of a flag.

Step back in time to D-Day, which simulates the iconic battle that occurred on the beaches of Normandy during World War Two.

When your enemies have a fortified barricade and you have nothing but your wits and a wide stretch of open land to cross, what strategy will you use to succeed?

Action-packed airsoft and awesome axe-throwing

You can also challenge your friends to airsoft here in another vast woodland arena.

More realistic than paintball, this type of combat is an activity for those who want to really feel like they’re in the wars.

And if you’re interested in more daring activities, take a shot at axe throwing!

No matter how experienced you are with chucking tomahawks around, it’s so much fun competing against your friends, seeing who can hurl their axe closest to the bullseye.

Even if you’re brand new to this, you’ll be trained by an expert guide on how to handle and throw your axe effectively.
