Halloween Lights of the Valley Train is a brilliant way to make October half-term feel a little more special. Watch the steam train glow with bright neon lights, settle into your seat and enjoy a journey packed with photo-worthy moments as the train steams through the South West Wales countryside.

There will be some spooky goings-on along the way for anyone who likes a little Halloween suspense, but the scarier moments can be avoided if your group would rather keep things simple, colourful and cosy. It’s a lovely option for families with younger children, train fans, Halloween lovers and anyone who fancies an autumn evening out with a bit of extra sparkle.

Open seating is available around tables of four, with smaller groups sometimes sharing on busier services. For something a little more special, you can book a private vintage-style compartment and enjoy the journey with your own group.

During the trip, adults can enjoy the onboard bar service with real ales, premium lagers, ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks available to enjoy at your seat. Hot food options are also available during the journey, so you can make a proper evening of it.
