Hardy’s Animal Farm is a flat site, making navigation easy for wheelchair and pushchair users.

  • All buildings are fully accessible, each featuring either a flat entrance or a ramp.
  • Animal buildings have concrete flooring throughout.
  • Low‑level viewing areas allow visitors using wheelchairs or pushchairs to see the animals comfortably and clearly.

Is there food and drink at Hardy's Animal Farm?

Yes, Hardy's Animal Farm is home to the Playbarn & Farm Cafe, offering a variety of hot and cold food, drinks, light bites and sweet treats.

You can also bring a picnic along with you. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches dotted around the farm which you are free to use.

Seating in the Playbarn & Farm Cafe is reserved for customers purchasing food onsite. 

Is Hardy's Animal Farm dog-friendly?

Hardy’s Animal Farm welcomes ADI and IGDF accredited assistance dogs, provided they have their ADUK ID Book and wear their harness or jacket.

All other dogs are required to use the farm’s onsite kennel facilities due to the stress and risk they may cause to pregnant animals and their young.

The kennel facilities require only a nominal £5 deposit, which is fully refundable.

Can you feed the animals at Hardy's Animal Farm?

Yes, there are lots of animals available to feed on the farm, with feed available from the reception/gift shop up entrance. The team do however ask that you don’t feed the horses, ponies and donkeys.

Is there parking at Hardy's Animal Farm?

As you come down the drive to Hardy’s there is a large car park on the right. This is FREE to all visitors to the farm.
