Enjoy jump racing, trackside views & a full day of live sporting action at Hereford Racecourse
Hereford Racecourse is an intimate National Hunt venue offering live jump racing through the autumn, winter and spring. Whether you're a seasoned racing fan or you're planning your first ever day at the races, Hereford puts you close to the horses, jockeys and action.
Head to the paddock before the race, find your spot by the rail and watch as the horses battle over the jumps towards the finishing post. With themed fixtures and family racedays adding even more to the calendar, there are plenty of reasons to head trackside.
Plan a race day that suits you
General admission at Hereford Racecourse gives you access to the Main Grandstand Enclosure, where you'll find viewing steps, public bars, food outlets and access to the rail. Gates generally open two hours before the first race, giving you plenty of time to arrive, explore and grab something to eat before racing begins.
Want to make more of your day? Hospitality options are available, including dining in Snaffles Restaurant and other upgraded race day experiences. Whether you're celebrating, getting a group together or simply fancy making your day at the races extra special, there's more than one way to experience Hereford.
Accessible racing for more comfortable days out
Hereford Racecourse offers priority parking for guests with limited mobility and Blue Badge holders, plus a hard-standing drop-off point immediately outside the main enclosure entrance. Public bars and food outlets are located on the ground floor with either ramp access or level flooring.
Personal assistants accompanying a paying visitor with accessible needs can also receive free admission, subject to the racecourse's eligibility requirements. There is currently no wheelchair access to private boxes and no passenger lift to the first floor where Snaffles Restaurant is located, although the racecourse can discuss alternative arrangements.
Whether you're there for the jumps, the trackside atmosphere, the hospitality or a day out with friends and family, Hereford Racecourse tickets put you close to the action. Book your chosen raceday and get ready for a proper day at the races.
