The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy at Riverside Studios is gearing up for its final lift-off, with the World Premiere production drawing to a close on 15 February 2026. It’s your last chance to explore Douglas Adams’ legendary universe before this epic, immersive journey disappears into hyperspace.

Expect to meet Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect as you say goodbye to a freshly destroyed Earth and hitchhike your way onto a spaceship in order to survive. Whether you prefer to sip on Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters or snack on Perfectly Normal Beast Sandwiches, Marvin the Paranoid Android and an unlikely crew of aliens will be there to guide you on a riotous adventure.

This family-friendly production welcomes guests of all ages (children 10 and up) to join us in escaping the destruction of Earth and embarking on a quest to uncover the ultimate answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything (spoiler: it may or may not be 42).

How to find us

Venue: Riverside Studios, 101 Queen Caroline St, Hammersmith, London W6 9BN

  • On exiting the Broadway via the south exit (by Tesco Metro), pass the Apollo on your left and Riverside is a 3 min walk down to the end of Queen Caroline Street (towards the river and Hammersmith Bridge).

By Car:

  • At the Hammersmith Broadway roundabout turn left by the Eventim Apollo into Queen Caroline Street and continue to the end of the road.
  • Queen Caroline Street and Crisp Road both have plenty of pay & display parking spaces (but only for a maximum 2-hour stay and you can’t extend after the 2 hours).

By Bus:

  • A number of bus routes serve the area.
  • Useful lines include 9, 10, 27, 72, 91, 211, 220, 283 and 295, stopping at or near Hammersmith Broadway

By Tube:

  • The District, Piccadilly, Circle and Hammersmith & City tube lines all come to Hammersmith Broadway station.
