Unfortunately, due to the nature of the attraction, Kents Prehistoric Caverns are inaccessible beyond the first underground chamber, but there is no charge for this area of the attraction.

A film of the tour is also available for people who are unable to accompany the tour.

Yes! Kents Cavern is a family-friendly attraction. Children under the age of three can enter at no cost.

Double-width pushchairs are not permitted into the attraction as they are too wide for the caves.

You can also head down to the Stone Age themed woodland trail and participate in The Stone Age Trail and Ice Age Animal Hunt!

With so many caves in Britain, Kents Cavern is one of the easiest to visit.

All paths are concrete, with only 9 shallow steps half-way round.

There are a handful of steep slopes, but handrails are provided throughout.

Kents Caverns are open all year round. They are closed on certain days throughout the Christmas Holidays.
