The minimum age for the Kernow Slide is 5 years old.
Visitors must be able to swim and climb over the inflatable barrier to exit the slide unaided.
Children aged 4 and under must ride with an adult aged 16+, and cannot be alone on the slide or steps at any time.
If you have a back or neck injury or are pregnant, the team strongly advise against participating. If you're unsure, you should speak to your doctor first.
You can wear anything to the Kernow Slide, as long as there are not zips, buttons, rivets or anything sharp.
- Wetsuits, swimwear, rash vests and leggings are recommended.
- Jewellery must be removed or covered up.
- You may wear glasses at your own risk.
- You must wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet.
Please note: There is a chance of friction burns so please cover up any exposed skin where possible.
Yes, spectators are more than welcome to watch the fun! Bring your family and friends and enjoy a picnic on the benches, or opt for some snacks on the camping chairs.
The team keep an extremely close eye on the weather, and will make decisions early if they need to close the attraction for the day.
