A little history lesson on Leas Cliff Hall

Leas Cliff Hall has lived quite the adventurous and diverse life.

It’s been witness to the vivacious energy of Mick Jagger when The Rolling Stones came to town, opened its arms to the ‘Prince of Darkness' himself - Ozzy Osbourne - and more recently welcomed Kings of Leon to its stage.

But intertwined throughout its history of rock’n’roll and spectacular music performances, Leas Cliff Hall has welcomed many other forms of entertainment.

Comedy acts like Victoria Wood and Russell Howard have made audiences cry with laughter over the venue’s lifetime. And turn up on the right day and it could be the soft echoes of ballerinas' feet you're met by, or quite alternatively, the flying bodies of wrestlers.

Whatever you’re a fan of, you’ll find a performance at Leas Cliff Hall perfectly catered to you.

Entertainment for all

From tribute bands to new musical acts on the rise, Leas Cliff Hall is still entertaining music fans of the past and present.

And through its entire life, watching the sea roll in over the beaches of south-east England, Leas Cliff Hall has had the free show of nature on its doorstep.

Head there in the summer months when the Balcony is open for a truly delightful evening of freshly made cocktails and views worth spending a moment to really appreciate.

We'd definitely recommend stopping off at Shelter Coffee Club before your show begins too. You can visit even if you aren’t going to watch a show but any excuse to enjoy both on the same day is one we don’t think should be passed up anytime soon.

Putting on your own performance

Got an event coming up? The Channel Suite has three function rooms available to hire which can be used for whatever you need.

Put on your own comedy night, throw a party, or even host your wedding - the views of the surrounding sea and the venue itself are sure to make any event a memorable one.
