How to find us

LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Manchester is right next door to the Trafford Centre, which can be accessed from Trafford Palazzo via an indoor footbridge. 

By car:

LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Manchester is about five miles west of Manchester City Centre, with ample free parking and transport links. The closest car park to the attraction is 'Trafford Centre Car Park West' at Trafford Palazzo, which is right outside the attraction and free to park. If you are visiting during peak periods please allow plenty of time to find somewhere to park.

By train:

You can access The Trafford Centre easily via a bus connection from a number of nearby train stations:

  • Manchester Piccadilly: Then catch the express X50 or 250 bus from Piccadilly Gardens, a few minutes' walk away.
  • Manchester Victoria: Then catch bus 100 from the station entrance.
  • Salford Crescent: Then catch bus 100 from the A6.
  • Urmston: Then catch bus 23, 25 or 245 from outside Sainsbury’s.

You can then access Trafford Palazzo by crossing the indoor footbridge from The Trafford Centre. 

By tram:

Trafford Palazzo (where LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is situated) is very close to the Barton Dock Road tram stop. The line runs from the Manchester City Centre Cornbrook stop. 

By bus: 

There are regular buses from all over the Greater Manchester region to the on-site bus station.

Can adults visit LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Manchester without any children?

Adults must be accompanied by children to enter LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre. Most of the attraction is designed for little ones.

An adult is classed as aged 18 and over. Children are classed as aged 17 and under. Children under the age of 2 are free but require a booking.

Can children visit the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Manchester without an adult?

All children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Manchester.

There is no space available to allow the consumption of food brought in from the outside at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Manchester.

  • Parking: There are accessible parking bays available in all Trafford Centre car parks.
  • Assistance dogs: Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • Wheelchairs: LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre is wheelchair-accessible. Wheelchairs or strollers are not provided by the attraction, however, guests are able to rent these from the Trafford Centre Shopmobility area. Please note that for all of rides, guests must be able to transfer to the ride vehicle with or without carer assistance. All rides also require guests to be able to sit upright unaided in order to ride.
  • Carer tickets: If a member of your party has a disability, they will be entitled to admit one free carer with them. Please book the carers ticket along with your other tickets, there will be an option to add this ticket type to the basket.
  • Ear defenders: A selection of free ear defenders are available from the admissions desk. Please ask a member of the team if you require these.
  • Quiet Route: There is a quiet route through the attraction that diverts from some of the louder rooms along the trail.
