Liverpool FC: Anfield Abseil & LFC Museum

All party members must sign a waiver form before taking part in the abseil experience. If there are any participants under 18 years of age in your party, please ensure a parent/guardian/supervising adult completes a Waiver Form on their behalf prior to the abseil using this link.

Included with your ticket:

• Transport to Anfield Stadium

Abseil participants must:   

• Be over 10 years of age (parental consent required if under 18).   
• Ratio – 1 Adult to every 2 youths (10-17 years old)  
• Be over 1.2 metres in height.   
• Be less than 21 stone (130kg) in weight.   
• Be able to wear a harness which has a maximum waist width of 130 cm and a maximum upper thigh width of 75cm.   
• Complete an online waiver prior to your abseil 

• Operating days vary.  
• Operating hours may vary but will be between 10am-4pm.   
• We strongly recommend you book in advance to avoid disappointment.   
• All bookings are subject to availability.    
• Please note if your booking is not pre-booked online additional charges may apply. 

Participants should arrive approx. 30 minutes prior to the scheduled abseil slot.   

The Anfield Abseil experience will last approximately 90 minutes in total.  This includes the abseil (60 mins) and access to the museum (30 mins). The museum can be visited at your leisure on the day of your abseil.   

• Your shoulders, midriff and upper legs should be covered.    
• No loose clothing please e.g., long skirts or flowing cardigans.    
• Footwear must be closed toe shoes, trainers or boots that will not fall off. Open toe shoes, flip flops, sandals, or high heels are not permitted.   
•  Long hair must be tied back. Jewellery and scarves must be removed.    
• Weather at the top of the Anfield Abseil is often magnified, so bring a waterproof jacket and warm layer.  

You'll need to be physically and medically fit to take part - please ask your doctor if you're not sure. Unfortunately, those who are pregnant are unable to take part in The Anfield Abseil. It is a physically demanding activity and requires you to wear a harness which fits tightly across the body.  

The team may request for you to provide a certificate of fitness from a medical practitioner to confirm that you are in a fit state of health to participate in the abseil and to provide such further details about your condition.  

This experience is not suitable for wheelchair/mobility scooter users.  Access to the final roof area to start the Anfield Abseil is via a narrow staircase with approx. 20 - 25 steps. 

Weather Restrictions: 

The Anfield Abseil operates all year round in all weather conditions.  

The weather is constantly monitored and only in the eventuality of extreme weather may this impact your booking. Should this happen, we will contact you directly to advise.   

The team reserve the right to postpone your abseil due to bad weather to ensure the safety of our visitors. 

Cancellation Policy: 

Due to the operational nature of a working stadium, all abseils are subject to change or cancellation at short notice (on rare occasions less than 24 hrs notice) If these circumstances arrive, Liverpool Football Club will try to offer alternative dates or if this is not feasible a refund will be offered. 

Liverpool Football Club will not be held responsible for hotels, flights and other travel costs which are made at your own risk.  

Cancellation and reschedule requests can be made up to 48 hours in advance. Any requests outside of this window will be non-refundable.
