  • Check in and collect your tickets from Luss SOUTH Car Park, located in Loch Lomond, Balmaha.
  • Please wear suitable outdoor clothing - the trail is outdoors and open to the elements.
  • Wellies or suitable waterproof footwear is advised. 
  • Due to steps and steep slopes, the trail is not pushchair or wheelchair accessible at this time. 
  • Well behaved dogs are welcome on the fairy trail, but they will not be permitted inside Faerie Tale Farm.

Simply pop in Loch Lomond's Faerie Trail's postcode into your sat-nav and head towards the Luss South Car Park. There, you will see the meeting point for the train. 

By Train:

The closest train station to Loch Lomond's Faerie Trail is Helensburgh Central Station, located around 18 minutes drive from your desired destination. Buses also operate from this railway station - check the timetables to fix your travel plans in place.

Loch Lomond's Faerie Trail states that your four-legged friends are very welcome on the trails, but they request that you keep them leashed at all times and clean up any dog mess. Dog bins are provided on the trail.

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted inside the Faerie Trail Farm. 

Loch Lomond's Faerie Trail is primarily created for children around 3-10 years old - however, the trail can be enjoyed by the eldest explorers and youngest adventurers!

Loch Lomond's Faerie Trail is around one mile long, but can take anywhere from one to three hours to complete. Spend as long or as little as you like finding the fairies!

The trail is closed on Tuesday & Wednesday, but remains open seven days a week during July & August. The trail opens at 9:30am and last admission is 3:30pm.
