Tonight’s programme celebrates Christmas through the elegance and brilliance of the Baroque era, with a selection of beautifully crafted festive masterpieces performed in the magnificent surroundings of St George's Church, Hanover Square. 【1-a193c4】

Opening the programme is Handel’s Overture to Messiah, one of the defining sounds of the Christmas season. Its opening section centres on the prophecy and birth of Christ, making it a fitting way to begin this festive concert. 【1-a193c4】
