What should I wear to Luminate?

Please note that the entire trail takes place outside. It will be cold, dark and sometimes wet. Please wrap up warm and wear sturdy footwear.

Can I buy food and drink at Luminate?

There are food and drink kiosks at each of the Luminate venues. Be sure to pick up some marshmallows for the fire pit! 

Are dogs allowed at Luminate?

For the safety and enjoyment of all our visitors, dogs are NOT permitted at Luminate, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs.

However, there are certain nights for each light trail that are specifically dog-friendly, with the exception of Luminate Birmingham. Please check the individual pages for more information on when these nights are taking place.

Who is Luminate suitable for?

Luminate is a family-friendly event that makes for an enchanting experience for visitors of all ages! 

When should I arrive to Luminate?

Please arrive no more than 15-20 minutes before your start time. 

Can carers visit Luminate for free?

Carers are welcome to come for free to Luminate. There must be at least one full paying child/adult in the group.

Are there toilets at Luminate?

Yes, toilets are situated in each of the Luminate sites. 

Can I take pictures at Luminate?

Yes, photography at Luminate is encouraged! 

Will we see Santa at Luminate?

Santa won't be at Luminate as he is far too busy at this time of year making presents!
