Each Luminate venue has its own route, installations and setting, so the precise experience varies by location and from year to year. Displays shown on the main website include light tunnels, laser skies, glowing woodland, rainbow pathways, mirror balls, projection shows, interactive games and illuminated photo opportunities.
Most trails are approximately one mile long and usually take around 60 to 90 minutes to complete, depending on your walking pace.
Pause along the route for hot chocolate, tea, coffee or mulled wine, then get cosy beside a fire pit and toast marshmallows. Food, drink and facilities vary by venue, so check the information for your chosen trail before visiting.
Luminate is designed for young and old alike, making it a festive choice for families, couples, friends and larger groups. Children aged two and under can attend free of charge and do not require a ticket.
Luminate does not include Father Christmas or traditional Christmas decorations. Instead, the spotlight stays firmly on immersive lights, music, creative installations and the natural setting around each venue!
