How to find us

Arriving by Car or Bike:

If you are travelling by car, the event car park is reached by passing through Maidstone Leisure Centre’s car park, and around the back to the gated field. There will be traffic stewards present.

  • You will need to purchase a parking ticket
  • Please do not park in the leisure centre car park because you will be fined. You must go over the gated threshold and onto Mote Park’s top field. The team are not liable nor responsible for any parking fines incurred by parking inside the leisure centre car park.
  • The Council car park situated within Mote Park’s main entrance is for park users only and closes before the show ends. Any vehicles left there can be removed.

Please note, the team strongly advise that you do not park in and around residential areas surrounding the park and doing so will run the risk of you receiving a parking ticket. There will be parking attendants patrolling on show days.

Please note that the festival accepts no responsibility for any vehicle breakdowns or issues that occur on site. All drivers are responsible for ensuring their vehicles are fully roadworthy and meet all legal requirements, including valid insurance, tax, MOT, and any other relevant documentation.

Arriving By Train: 

There are three train stations that service Maidstone.

  • Maidstone West is 1.3 miles from Mote Park.
  • Maidstone East is 1.4 miles from Mote Park.
  • Maidstone Barracks is 1.7 miles from Mote Park.
  • All three stations serve London stations.

Arriving By Bus:

  • The Mall Bus Station is approximately 1 mile from Mote Park.

Arriving By Taxi:

  • Most taxis operate a pick-up/drop off service from the leisure centre car park.

Yes, there are a variety of food and drink vendors at Maid of Stone Festival.

Adults are not permitted to bring any food or drinks onto the site, apart from sealed bottles of water. Parents can bring snacks and a soft drink for young children (no cans, please).
