Meet The Watcher at Mary Shelley's House of Frankenstein

After Dark is not the standard daytime museum experience. This is a live, intense horror event created for visitors ready to face darkness, confinement and a building full of things that do not intend to stay quietly in the shadows.

Move through rooms filled with misery and torment while The Watcher follows your journey. The experience uses live horror actors, special effects, jump scares, restricted lighting and confined spaces to create psychological paranoia from the moment you step inside.

You will need to navigate multiple floors, staircases and low-level crawl spaces, including areas that require you to kneel and crawl for short periods. Every turn takes you further into the building, from its darkened rooms to its unsettling basement.

Take your After Dark visit even further with Victor's Lair Escape Room

Victor's Lair is a separate one-hour, puzzle-based escape room experience. Evening escape-room sessions booked from 5.30pm onwards on selected After Dark dates include entry to After Dark 2026 Horror Nights.

Escape-room tickets are priced separately according to party size, so check your chosen ticket carefully before booking. After your encounter with The Watcher, you can also stop at The Bitter End Bar and steady your nerves with one of its mind-bending shots, including a non-alcoholic option.

Think you can handle the darkness? Book After Dark 2026 Horror Nights tickets and prepare to meet The Watcher.
