By car:
Paid car parking is available on site including accessible parking and a drop off zone.
The car park is open with multiple ways to pay:
Pay station payable by coins or card located on Level 2 at the pedestrian exit.
By phone- please download the ‘paybyphone’ app, (the location number is on the signage in the car park) and follow the instructions.
By train:
The Museum is less than one mile from both Matlock Bath and Cromford train stations on the Derwent Valley Line between Matlock & Derby.
By bus:
The Masson Mills bus stop is conveniently located right outside the entrance, making it easy for you to access the site using public transport.

Yes, Masson Mills Museum is mostly wheelchair friendly, with ramp access to the Visitor Centre and 1783 Mill, as well as accessible parking and drop-off. A temporary ramp is assembled as needed for the 1783 Mill entrance, and accessible toilets are available within that mill. Lift access is also available between floors of the 1783 Mill.
Dogs are welcome in the Visitor Centre, however, due to load noises and open water they do not allow them on the rest of the site which includes the museum and guided tours. Guide dogs are welcome.
